About Us

HOPE Coalition is a nonprofit organization working to help families in crisis rebuild their lives. HOPE’s geographical region includes primarily Goodhue County, MN and also Pierce (WI), Wabasha (MN), and Olmsted Counties (MN).  The agency was formed in 1990 and incorporated in 1992 as a 501(c)3, private non-profit corporation dedicated to serving victims and survivors of domestic violence, homelessness, and child abuse. Since that time, we have grown and expanded our services to better meet the needs of our community. HOPE Coalition provides a safe space and opportunities for healing and self-discovery.

HOPE Coalition’s programming currently includes: a 24-Hour Crisis Line; Emergency Shelter services for women and their Children; Emergency Shelter services for homeless families and individuals; a Community Care Fund to assist with emergency needs; Domestic Abuse, Child Abuse and Homelessness Advocacy; legal assistance in obtaining Orders for Protection and Harassment/Restraining Orders; and various support groups for men, women, and children experiencing family violence.

Our Community

HOPE Coalition provides emergency services and support for families in crisis. We work closely with the local school districts, law enforcement, Public Health, Social Services, and systems professionals to create safe, healthy communities. HOPE Coalition offers information and resources to individuals utilizing our services. We create opportunities for volunteers, donors and supporters to get involved.
