Support Groups
Children’s Support Groups (K-12)
During the school year HOPE Coalition Children’s Advocates facilitate after-school support groups for children K-12. Group topics include age-appropriate topics specific to abused and neglected youth, and utilize the “Health Relationships” curriculum for the middle- and high school groups.
Transportation to and from group is available within the Red Wing city limits.
- Mondays: Grades 5-12 (Middle- and High School)
- Tuesdays: Grades K-2 (Lower Elementary)
- Wednesdays: Grades 2-4 (Upper Elementary)
- Thursdays: Haven of Hope youth (domestic violence shelter)

Battered Women’s Support Group
Advocate facilitated weekly meetings in a confidential setting allowing for listening, sharing, healing and growth with other women with similar experiences. Art therapy is provided through ArtReach the first week of the month. Child care is available for those able to RSVP. Renewed Hope Support Group (Goodhue County Adult Detention Center)
The “Renewed HOPE” Support Group is a weekly program at the Goodhue County Jail facilitated by HOPE Coalition staff. Topics for group include domestic abuse, safety planning, self-esteem, goal-setting, and community resources.
Housing Assessments and Release Planning (Goodhue County Adult Detention Center)
Inmates at the Goodhue County Jail who have been homeless or will be homeless upon release may choose to meet with a HOPE Housing Advocate to attempt to resolve their housing issue before they are released from jail.
