Laura McDonough

Laura began as a volunteer for HOPE, leading SARA, the former sexual assault service organization. When SARA merged with HOPE, she served on call 24 hours a day, providing unwavering support to survivors in their moments of greatest need. After leaving HOPE to work with the Department of Corrections, Laura continued her advocacy by consistently referring survivors to HOPE’s services. Though Laura has passed away, her compassion, dedication, and tireless advocacy live on in the countless lives she touched.
