Melissa Helberg has organized a golf tournament and bake sale at The Jewel in Lake City for several years, with proceeds benefiting HOPE’s Wabasha County office. What began as a capstone project for court has grown into a yearly tradition, raising awareness of domestic violence in our rural area and providing vital funding for victims/survivors and their families. Thanks to Melissa’s deep commitment to HOPE’s mission, the owners of The Jewel match the funds raised each year.
